Abstract

In our research, we aim to reconstruct the closed loop of the brain and body for stroke rehabilitation by robot. We need to set the plan of rehabilitation of the robot dynamically according to the degree of recovery. Corticomuscular coherence is referred to as an index of the synchrony in the neural activity of brain’s cortical areas and muscle. It can be used to evaluate the effects of rehabilitation of stroke patients. Toward such evaluation, in this paper, we classify elbow flexion movement to three stages and take the healthy people as subjects to analyze the changes of corticomuscular coherence in the movement.
