Abstract

Different from the conventional processing method, it is defined as dynamic processing that processing is performed in parallel with design. This research aims to prove that living things are making natural design by using dynamic processing from the observation of the behavior of the living body and proposing a completely new processing concept by extracting the behavior. In this research, we aim to extract behavioral factors for making tree like structure by analyzing behavior of earthworms (Enchytraeus japonensis) in gel. As a result, we showed that the earthworm determines movement characteristics by detecting local mechanical properties. In addition, it showed that tracking behavior of collective behaviors, are one of the factors contributing to the formation of a tree-like structure with mainstream and tributaries. We also plan to develop a new processing method that can create a tree like structure by developing a wet robot equipped with this behavior.
