Recently a system for measuring the position of football players on the field is in operation, and it is effective for grasping the state of the athlete and making a strategy. There are methods of measuring the position using image processing and those using GPS, but in both cases it is expensive. Therefore, we have tried to detect the position using an inexpensive wireless module and carried out a basic experiment, so we report in this paper.
