Miniaturization of variable capacitance type multi-point pressure sensor used for myoelectric hand

Abstract

The purpose of this study is developing the multi-point pressure sensor and the display system of this sensor for the myoelectric artificial hand user. Sensor must be small because it is necessary to wear it on user's fingertip. But capacitive type is difficult to miniaturize. In this paper, we describe about our developed sensor miniaturized approach and characteristic of the sensor.
