Risks of falling with wearable assist appartaus are evaluated based on Japanese women forearm mimics. Wearable devices such as power assist suites are expected to increase activities and abilities in various industrial fields. Risks of falling in use of them, however, are not clarified yet. To understand risks caused by falling, impact damage to break forearm or hand are examined in this paper. Affects of impact force are revealed in terms of kinetic energy.
