In this paper, an ability development method of solving problems by utilizing robots is studied. Practice tasks are weeding paddy field using robots and improvement of the robot. For educational material, a robot for practice which consist of LabVIEW and robot kit (TETRIX) is developed. Targeted abilities are developed by the practice of operation and improvement proposal of the robot. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated by analyzing the training results and the questionnaire.
