Abstract

International collaborative PBL on manufacturing theme with school in overseas has many difficulties such as not only for language barriers but also difference in way of developing. As an international practical PBL for manufacturing education, five students from Tsuyama Kosen and PCSHS (Princess Chulabhorn Science High School) Buriram in Thai land formed an international team to attend the Tsuyama robot contest. Both student has different cultural backgrounds and major subjects, and Thai students are from science high school and Japanese students are from engineering division (they study mechatronics and control). In this case study report, the educational effect of this interdisciplinary merged international PBL through the robot contest has discussed.
