Abstract

Mobile robot technology has been expected to be applied to various applications. In this paper, an autonomous mobile robot was developed. This consists of two driving wheels, LRF sensor, Kinect sensor etc. This robot is supposed to be used for guiding walkers and instructing them about their walking postures. Experiments were carried out, and it could guide and instruct five participants, while creating a moving path and avoiding obstacles. It was confirmed that fundamental functions had been developed.
