After radioactive substance spread over a large area on Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident in 2011, radiation monitoring becomes essential. The handheld survey meter is typically used to measure the distribution of the radioactive substance. This technique is time-consuming and gives risk to the radiation workers from getting high radiation exposure. The combination of Compton camera and remote mobile robot is useful for remotely measuring radioactive substances over a wide area or in a high dose-rate environment in which the worker is difficult to access. Moving the Compton camera using the mobile robot is needed to get 3-D radiation imager from multiple viewpoint measurement data.
