分野融合教育に着目するロボコン指導

―津山高専総合理工学科における活動事例―

In recent years, there has been a demand for human resources development that can respond to new issues such as the rapid globalization of science and technology and production activities, energy issues, declining birthrate and aging population. In response, National Institute of Technology, Tsuyama College organized a department to conduct integrated education that included basic science fields including biology and chemistry in addition to the specialty fields so far. As a result, students who study chemistry etc. also belonged to the Robocon Club activities. From these trends, we are exploring the possibility of technology integration for the Department of Comprehensive Science and Engineering as a robot control activity.
