To prevent accidents such as the collision between an object in the environment and our body, the perception-assist technique, which can automatically change a dangerous motion to a safe motion, has been studied. On the other hand, it is recently founded that the human motion is different from his/her intended motion when vibration stimulation is added to certain muscles and the amount of motion difference can be controlled by adjusting the frequency of the vibration stimulation to achieve the target motion, which is different from the user's intended motion. In this study, it is elucidated that the control of human motion change can be carried out during continuous elbow-joint-flexion/extension-motion in order to realize the upper-limb perception-assist with vibration stimulation. The experimental results indicate that the control manner of human motion change by adjusting frequency of vibration stimulation is effective for control of human motion change during continuous elbow-joint-flexion-extension-motion.
