Nanoparticles have played an important role in many fields such as production process for medicine, cosmetics, and electric materials. In addition, a production system for generating uniform nanoparticles with a small flow-type process has been required. By cooling crystallization process, a method using micro fluidic devices which is quenching of solution generated as micro droplets is effective for nanoparticles generation. In this study to improve the yield of nanoparticles, a structure of microchannel for quenching micro droplets has been designed and fabricated to increase the residence time in the microchannel, and nanoparticles have been generated. Experimental result showed that the yield of nanoparticles was improved when compared to the previous study.
