It is expected that the size of the domestic robot market, mainly in the service and manufacturing fields, will expand significantly in the future, and the demand for robot technology is expected to increase further. Our university is training engineers and researchers in the field of mechatronics and robotics who can respond to these needs. Especially, we have introduced a competition-style mechatronics education using a two-axis drive robot in the experimental course implemented in the third year, where students learn electronic circuit design, control programming, and mechanical design through robot development. This paper describes the contents of the experiment and issues in the second year of introduction.
