Abstract

The realization of decorative printing on the surface of various three-dimensional objects expands the range of thinking for designers. In this paper, we report a decorative printing system for the three-dimensional objects using a movable stage by a rotational type of tripod parallel mechanism. A prototype of the printing system was proposed and experimentally developed. The decorative printing was carried out for a ceramic plate. The motion simulation of the stage for decorative printing was performed for the surface of the three-dimensional object.
