Abstract

Echography is an imaging diagnostic method that has advantages of low cost, minimally invasive, real time, compactness, and simplicity. However, ultrasonographer diagnose a large number of patients a day, which puts a mental and physical burden on the doctor and ultrasonographer who operate it. So, it is required the system that reduces the physical burden on the ultrasonographer and reduces the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. In this paper, we propose an evaluation index of the physical burden on the ultrasonographer based on Percent change strength of voluntary contraction. In addition, in this study, we constructed an ultrasound diagnosis support system that superimposes the examiner’s biometric information and the acquired tomogram in real time using an optical see-through head-mounted display during ultrasound diagnosis. As a result, we succeeded in visualizing the workload of doctors and technicians during diagnosis and providing visual feedback.
