In this study, we evaluate the vibration-induced flow with high-frequency vibrations. In recent years, acoustic streaming is attracting large attention in the fields of genetics or medicine because acoustic streaming can manipulate micro-nanoparticles with low-damage and high speed. We report micro-nanomanipulation method by using vibration-induced flow. Vibration-induced flow is local flow generated by a vibrating microstructure. This flow is strongly localized under condition of high frequency. Thus, there is a possibility that we can control manipulation area or target sizes of the manipulation by changing frequencies of applied vibrations. Therefore, we construct vibration-induced flow system with MHz vibrations. In this paper, we evaluate the relationship between acoustic pattern and vibration-induced flow by using a schlieren observation system.
