In recent years, acoustofluidics, a micromanipulation method by applying acoustic wave to a microfluidic device, has been attracting large attention in medical and biological fields because of their non-invasive and high throughput characteristics. However, its accuracy and stability can be declined by a temperature increase or diffraction in the microchannel. In this study, we constructed a system based on schlieren method to observe acoustic waves in a microfluidic device. In addition, standing waves were visualized according to the positions of their pressure nodes. we also evaluated the observed standing waves at various temperatures to investigate the effect of temperature increases of piezoelectric actuators. As a result, the temperature changes altered patterns and wavelengths of the standing waves.
