Abstract

Existing manufacturing systems based on processes involving the transportation of workpiece are not suitable for large products such as air mobility, which is expected to play an important role in the future. In this research, we propose ultra-complex manufacturing that performs multiple types of machining simultaneously without moving a workpiece. In addition, we propose a novel manufacturing system based on intelligent space to realize ultra-complex manufacturing. By modularizing its structure, the system can process multiple points simultaneously and change its work space. This paper discusses the approach to realize the way to move machining feature and to milling and laser process in this new production system.
