Three-dimensional (3D) haptic devices are expected to be applied to various fields such as haptics in the metaverse. Conventional 3D haptic devices consist of many actuators and mechanical elements, therefore, they need a large and complicated structure for 3D haptic display. In order to solve these problems, we have been developing a 3D haptic actuator that can be driven in various directions in space by only one actuator with compact size. This paper describes its structure and operating verification. The experimental verifications of the partial acceleration response for haptic display are shown.
