Light-based single-cell screening with exoskeleton-assisted microwell array

Abstract

Efficient cell line establishment and delivery of modality require the selection of target cells. During the selection, the movement of cells should be stabilized. The use of PDMS microwell arrays assumes to inhibit the movement. However, the flexibility of the PDMS chip makes it difficult to fix a chip directly on the stage. In this study, we applied an exoskeleton to the PDMS microwell array and fixed it to the stage. This addition enabled the scanning of a chip on the stage.
