This paper analyzes if the perception property of impact force in the VR hitting-ball task would be affected by the velocity of hand motion. A set of experiments for five healthy participants was carried out for the designed conditions on movement speed of the hand and timing gap of hitting ball from the visual information, in which the visuo-haptic device developed with a VR system was utilized. Results shows that the perception property is significantly changed in the hand velocity as well as the timing gap of hitting the ball between visual and haptic perceptions.
