Our photochemical cell membrane perforation is a novel approach for processing mass cells for cell therapy and regenerative medicine. This technology offers a promising potential in the field of organ regeneration. For instance, in a highly complex organ regeneration scenario, the selective modification of undifferentiated cells in a specific area can achieve enhanced organ regeneration. We aimed to develop a structural design of the system to modify and pattern a limited range of cells through local restriction of excitation light irradiation. In this report, results are presented which demonstrate the possibility of introducing two different membrane-impermeable substances into the same group of cells in different areas. This finding provides evidence of the superiority of this method in the introduction of patterned intracellular materials into cells.
