In Japan, it is expected that the population will continue to age in the future, and personal mobility is attracting attention as a means of transportation. Among them, when we focused on electric wheelchairs, we found that they needed a steering support system because they were difficult to operate and learn. Therefore, we have developed a control support system for riding mobile robots for improving the safety of running and reducing the control burden. In this paper, to further improve the performance of the system, we set a long-distance route including situations that have not been tried before, evaluate the system through experiments, and clarify new issues.
