This study aims to develop a technology for parallel manipulation of single cells using a microfluidic device with an integrated peristaltic pump. Peristaltic pump operating conditions for stable and high-throughput cell manipulation were investigated. We developed a parallel single-cell operation technique using a peristaltic pump integrated pipette array for parallel single-cell operation. Performance evaluation with HeLa cells showed that cells could be captured and ejected to microwells. A cell capture rate of 80% was achieved with a driving time of 120 s. We confirmed that parallel capture and ejection is possible with a pipette array.
