Pneumatic artificial muscles are characterized by their light weight, high output, and flexibility. There is a need to improve the convenience of the charging infrastructure. To make it possible to automatically charge devices, a mechanism for moving a charging plug using pneumatic artificial muscles was considered. We measured the force required to push and pull the plug and the force generated by artificial muscles.
