This study aimed to understand the coordinated control of upper limb movements through the analysis of forearm muscle activity using high-density electromyography (EMG). 17 forearm muscles were monitored during wrist dorsiflexion and flexion tasks. The data were visualized in 4D to enhance understanding. Muscle synergy analysis revealed the coordinated control of hand movements, indicating the involvement of both primary muscles of wrist movements and supportive muscles which work finger movement. This understanding has implications for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation, particularly in conditions like dyskinesia. This findings could contributes to a range of medical treatments, including electromyographic assessment, botulinum therapy and electromyographic biofeedback therapy.
