Abstract
The desiccant air-conditioning system is getting attention as the alternative to the conventional mechanical dehumidification system that uses the compression type refrigerator. The feature of the desiccant air-conditioning system is that it can control the latent heat and sensible heat separately. So far, simulation models of the desiccant wheel have been constructed and the performance of the system has been analyzed. But the control method that is quite important for the stable supply of the constant humidity air has not been discussed sufficiently. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop the humidity control method of the desiccant air-conditioning system by the simulation. As a result, we could clarify that the regeneration air temperature is better than the regeneration air flow rate and desiccant wheel rotary speed as the manipulated variable.
