This research dealt with hydrogen gas production from Refuse Derived Fuel (hereafter RDF) as waste biomass from the prevention of explosion accident and the utilization of clean energy. In this report, the two kinds of hydrogen generation bacteria were cultivated, varying the initial pH and temperature to investigate the relationship between pH and hydrogen gas production. Hydrogen gas concentration and pH were measured with the cultivating progress of the two kinds of bacteria and RDF. As a result, it was seen that hydrogen gas generation was closely connected with the lowering of pH.
