For Management of Construction Site, Traffic jams around site are serious matters. In the case of large-scale civil construction, vehicles concerned with site often amount to 10,000 sometimes. Managers of these sites need to know traffic information, and in case of jam, control coming and going of vehicles. For this demand, we propose a method of traffic monitoring with camera, and automatic control system for vehicles going out from site. Traffic information is measured by Image processing as occupancy, and the traffic information is displayed at exit gate. In this paper we describe the principle of monitoring, verification experiment and application in site.
