抄録

We conducted loading tests, running tests and calculating to understand the characteristic of inter-car oil damper in minute stroke. Based on the test results, we developed a high performance inter-car oil damper with pressured N_2 gas for Shinkansen train set. This damper is improved energy absorption in minute stroke. We equipped rolling stock of 700 series Shinkansen with the dampers in running tests. We got many data and analyzed them, so we report on the results.
