Abstract
This paper describes a video recording system for the purpose of observing and analyzing the long distance truck driver's behavior. The system consists of a few cameras that have infrared lights, a hard disk DVD recorder that can record for long time and four-channel multiplexer. As a result, the system worked well on the commercial truck and we could observe the driver's behavior. Moreover we tried to apply image processing technology to retrieve the driver's characteristics from the video.
