As one of the automobile assist technologies, there is an automatic collision avoidance system in which both of the automatic-steering and the automatic-braking are actuated. The performance of it is analyzed by the computer simulation. In the automatic collision avoidance system, the avoidance distance is an important evaluation index. It is considered that this avoidance distance is influenced by various parameters such as the vehicle mass and the center of gravity position. Therefore, the simulation with changes of some parameters is conducted and the relation with the variation of the avoidance distance is analyzed.
