A simulator for railway vehicle floor acceleration was devised by combining a universal shaking table and an inclination table. By the simulator riding comfort can be evaluated. The shaking table cannot produce sufficient amplitude in the region of lower-frequencies. Combining the inclination table that uses gravitational acceleration by inclination and the universal shaking table, railway vehicle floor acceleration can be reproduced. That is to say, the inclination table takes a part for lower-frequencies, and the universal shaking table takes part for higher-frequencies. We show the folding frequency which enables the simulator to reproduce railway vehicle floor acceleration properly.
