We have developed an axle bearing durability test equipment capable of providing actual dynamic load. A long-term durability test of axle bearings is currently in progress by using this equipment. We report the durability test results of the grease lubricated axle bearings and the oil bath lubricated axle bearings up to 6.0 million km. We always monitor the temperature and the vibration of all the test pieces but we could not detect abnormalities in the state quantities so far.
