Abstract
In this report, Firebricks for industrial use remain in Kitakyushu district and their short history will be explained. Contents of this report are as follows. 1) A short history of foundations of firebrick manufacturer in Kitakyushu district. 2) Firebricks for industrial use remain in Kitakyushu district as industrial heritage. 3) Results of field survey on the firebricks for industrial use remain in Kitakyushu district and significance on the history of technology.
