The purpose of this research is that multi-handicapped child T and the family improve the life environment of T's house to spend independent life. Then, we introduced the lift, and compared it before and after the rift installation of life. The following three points were examined in this research. The first is about the help operation, the second is about communications of family and multi-handicapped child T, the third is about the bathing act. Since rift was introduced, the mother's help load was able to be reduced and to have done extra time. In addition, T seemed to have relaxed, and came to receive the help.
