Among countries with rapidly aging populations, Japan faces particular challenges. Another is popularly being called "elder-to-elder nursing care". Most people hope for recuperation with home. However, recuperation with home causes a lot of problems for the attendant and the patient. Changing ships from the bed to the wheelchair is heavy labor, for example. It causes heavy labor to cause injury in an aged attendant. Therefore, it is thought that the patient's independence support is necessary. In that reason, we developed a robotic wheelchair that can transform to standing position. To match it to the size of the house in Japan, shape and the size of the wheelchair made to the same extent as the usual one. All mechanisms are worked by electricity.
