We found a GlcNAc:-6sulfotransferase (SulT-b) in human colonic mucinous adenocarcinoma. SulT-b is biochemically different from the sulfotransferase in human normal colonic mucosa (SulT-a). SulT-b is expected to be a good marker for the detection of mucinous adenocarcinomas.
