Abstract
The mordibity of angular stomatitix was investigated among primary and middle school students in the sections of a village in Miyagi prefecture and in Sendai City, dividing the latter into three classes according to the living grade, and it was observed that the unbalanced diet caused by too much comsumption of rice is an important factor in getting angular stomatitis.
