8. Mineral contents of Kidney and Small intestine of Induced Rachitic Animals

Abstract
The iron, copper and calcium content of the kindney of experimental rachitic animal is more than that of normal animal, and the phosphorous content of well nourished rachitic animal is slightly less than that of normal animal, while slightly greater in the case of undernourished rachitic animal.
The potassium content of the kidney of rachitic animal and the sodium content of undernorished rachitic animal are significantly less than that of normal animal, while the phosphorous, calcium, sodium and potassium content of intestinal wall do not show regular fluctuation.
