抄録

The relation between the 0-dimensional confinement time and the 1-dimensional transport is discussed in the toroidal geometry. Power degradation and favorable density dependence of the energy confinement time can be derived from Bohm and gyro-Bohm type transport. Projection of the real geometrical coordinate on the flux coordinate is briefly explained as an introduction to the following chapters. Metric coefficients should be carefully considered in non-circular/complicated 3-D geometries.
