A magnetically driven fast acting valve is constructed for our cusp experiment.
Some of the valve performance charactristics are oftained, which agree closely with theoretical estimation.
Maximum flight velocity of the valve is observed to be 10m/sec, when the condenser is charged 10 KV.
Valve-opening durations of 0.1 m. sec. to 0.9 m sec are obtained.
