Usually, microwave powers passed through conductive plasmas made with inductively coupled R. F. discharges are reduced. But, it has been observed that transmitted powers through transient stages at the transitions from weak glow-like to intense arclike R. F. discharges are increased. It has been proved experimentally that incident waves interact with oscillations excited in the transient stages and transmitted waves become beat waves of incident waves and excited oscillations. As a result, transmitted waves are amplified through these interactions. Considering incident waves and excited oscillations as the sources of energy supply, ampifications of transmitted waves have been calculated theoretically. Experimental results have been able to explain with these calculations.
