The long plasma cylinder bounded by the wall has been treated considering the collision terms which was neglected in the earlier work. From the treatment, the relation R vs. Te is obtained (where R is the tube radius and Te the electron temperature). When the magnetic field decreases and when the number density of the neutral atoms returning from the wall decreases, the temperatures are increased. The velocity of the plasma escaping transverse to the magnetic field is equal to the acoustic velocity of plasma at the highest value, which is independent of the strength of magnetic field provided that the temperatures are spatially constant.
