Abstract
RIKEN Genomic Sciences Center generated approximately 50,000 activation tagged lines. Seeds are preserved at T2 (segregated) generation. We are collecting seeds images from each lines and trying to pick up numerical data of seed shape, size and color. And we also try to set up conditions to distinguish between recessive and dominant mutation, simultaneously. Thirty seeds from each lines were put in a well which was inserted between two transparent plastic sheets. One set of sheets contains 50 lines and was subjected to a flatbed scanner. The collected images were cut into each wells and numerical data (seed size, shape and color) were extracted by WinSeedle. In this poster, we presents a model case of analysis of known seed morphological mutants.
