Abstract
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology began Super Science High school (SSH) project in 2002. The purpose of this new project is to nurture the science-and-technology-type human resources in the future. Matsuyama Minami Senier High School is designated as SSH and is implementing the following efforts for the students who belong to the science and mathematics course and the scientific club activities.
The classes in the science and mathematics course set by the school
The efforts from cooperation to connection between high school and university
The special events (field researches and studies at science museum)
The activation of the scientific club activities
Through above-mentioned efforts, our SSH project has led to the improvement of the motivation of the students.
