Abstract
The objective of this study is to clarify ink film peeling mechanism in deinking from the surface chemical point of view. Also the final target focuses on obtaining an environment-friendly deinking treatment. In the previous paper, by assuming that ink peeling is occurred when the deinking solution penetrates into the interface between ink film and the ink supporting material, the residual ink amount was evaluated in relation to the ratio of the penetration strength to the adhesion strength. The perfect ink film peelinglimit did not result in the ratio of ideal value of about 1, but 0.65. This describes that another remaining factor effecting on the ratio will newly be predicted. In this paper, penetration behaviors of deinking solution into the surface of ink film that would be considered to be one of the parameters were investigated.
