Abstract
A prepress process in the printing industry has a character like information industry, and makes information virtual by the digital technology. On the other hand, a printing process has a character like the manufacturing industry, and makes information real by the analog technology. The whole of the printing process has the character like manufacturing industry and the character like information industry. Printing industry must make the process that has two different characters one process with digital information. There is the biggest problem of the digital workflow in the printing process in changing virtual digital information into the real analog information. Database AMPAC is the database that collects digital workflow information and analog production information and can make use of information effectively.
