抄録
In modern society, the family and community welfare is threatened. This is taken up as the problem of social disorganization in American Sociology. However, since Japan is undergoing a different historical process, the methods of American Sociology are not adequate in this country. The writer believes that in addition to social factors, economic and psychological ones, e.g., the individual's desire for improvement in his conditions, must be considered, if the processes of disorganization and reorganization are to be understood.
