Abstract
This report is a result of research on the damege of modern architectures by The Great Hanshin Earthquake and the situation and movement after the earthquake in Jan. 1995. The objects in this research are architectures in the area of foreign settlement and seaside bund, KOBE-City, constructed in 1926-1945. The damege of them is lesser than that of architectures in other period by the study after The Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923. Now, they are almost in use. (Example : KOBE Municipal Museum and The Customs of KOBE) In 1996 and 1997,JSSD, I reported about the situation and movement of architectures in same area after the earthquake, constructed in 1868-1912 and 1912-1926.
